Lloyd Colfer proved again that if you are good enough you are old enough when he scored 1-7, the same as Gusserane in the New Ross district Junior B Football semifinal on Friday in Grantsown. The sixteen year old Wunderkind’s scores were supplemented by points from Eamon Codd, Ger Power and Darragh Kelly in Taghmon’s 1-10 to 1-7 win (HT 1-3 all) over the dogged fighters from Tintern parish. Adamstown are the opponents in the district final.
