A   Chan Si Gong

Silk Reeling Energy
Part 1

Saturday 23rd June
9.30am - 12.30pm

Suitable for Beginners

Silk Reeling Energy is considered to be the alphabet of Tai Chi. It enables both knowledge and progress in Tai Chi to be realised. Chen Si Gong develops inner strength through the circulation of our Chi vital energy.

Like the unreeling of the delicate silk thread from its cocoon, Chi circulation must be smooth and unbrooken. Understanding the Chi path within our bodies combined with correct postures together are vital to the proper practice of Tai Chi.

The importance of this concept and the correct poetures will be explained and shown demonstrating how to get the Chi circulating smoothly.

B   Healing Sounds Qigong

Saturday 23rd June
2.30pm - 6.30pm

Suitable for Beginners and those with Previous Knowledge & Experience

Each Qigong exercise gently streches the body, calms the mind, improves blood circulation and facilitates the free flowing of Chi within each of the organs in our bodies. When Chi and blood flow freely, our body's natural defence and self healing capabilities are strengthened. Mental and physical relaxation is developed whilst improving the function of our central nervous system. After performing this Qigong, one can feel re-energised, more positive and ready to cope with the pressures of life.
