Message from Lepidus (the master
bard) Welcome, welcome one and all. I am the resident bard of this Inn. I am here to recite poetry, sing songs and to generally provide the entertainment. In this corner of the Inn you will find a collection of music which you are free to keep in your own houses. At the moment there are only a few songs due to lack of space for the instruments however there will be more when an extension is made. In the mean time the music will be alternated from time to time. I hope that this does not inconvenience you to much and that it does not lessen your enjoyment here too greatly. Lepidus This music is from the land of Andor. I hope that you enjoy the three pieces. Dahl.mp3 (2.032 MB or 2 minutes and 9 seconds) starts as an eerie chant before livening up into a kind of folk-song. There is good use of drums and the voices have a haunting effect. Journey.mp3 (2.376 MB or 2 minutes and 31 seconds ) creates well the atmosphere of a journey. It begins with a strong marching beat before becoming faster and the music flows until it comes towards the end where it ends as it began with the strong beat before fading out. WhiteTower.mp3 (4.479 MB or 3 minutes and 49 seconds) starts off with a slow and beautiful solo by the guitar which is soon joined by a drum pacing out the beat of a slow dance. The music then gains momentum after it appears to have come to an end. The tempo is much quicker and the texture is more rich with new instruments entering. The music returns to its earlier state before returning once again to the quicker motif. The music gradually slows until it finally ends. |
