Land League Cottage
The story behind the Land League Cottage concerns the widow Biddy Mulvey's house which was demolished by a landlord back in 1888 in an attempt to evict Biddy. The local's upset and in support of the widow banded together and rebuilt the house in the dead of night. Thus the plaque reads :
