This fantastic photo shows inshore fishermen hauling in their net. The salmon in the foreground seems to be a fair sized fish. The net would be pulled out in a large semicircle by a punt before being brought back to shore. The barefooted fishermen would then draw in both sides and extract their catch. © Brian Cannon..
