Sounds was one of the national music weeklies in the UK, like NME and Melody Maker, reaching tens or hundreds of thousands of readers each week. It was more "rockist" than the others, paying more respect to roots, trad, metal, and punk than the others, which lived purely in the fleeting fashion moment. This review was written by "Ralph Traitor," the pen name of a guy who was also in the band the Barricudas. Four stars for "Intense dumbness!"
