Trainspotters A - Senior Men division - Defending Champions:

Group A	Thurs 26th	9.40 pm	15	27	v Lions

Much like '99 the title was lost at the group stage for the A-team.
- We blame the new gear - as we did then aswell!

 

The Wasters (aka Trainspotters B) - Division 4 Men - relegated from Div 3 last year:

Group A	Thurs 26th	11.30 am	6	19	v Real Currow
Group A	Thurs 26th	4.20 pm	Win	no show	v Desmonds
Semi-final	Sunday 29th	9.30 am	14	19	v Toms

The Wasters, despite scoring only two 3-pointers in their 1st game, advanced to the Semi-final due to Desmonds no show.
And at 9.30am on the morning after "Pub Golf", five brave souls came very close to causing a major upset against McCarthys bar - but alas, it was not to be!

 

Ladies Trainspotters (aka Spotterettes) - Division 2 Ladies - first year competing:

Group A	Thurs 26th	3.45 pm	14	17	v Currow
Group A	Thurs 26th	5.35 pm	33	19	v Team Failte
Semi-final	Sunday 29th	10.00 am	13	18	v St. Marys (1)

The Ladies Trainspotters lost their first game against Currow on free throws , but put in an impressive display in their 2nd game to advance. In the semi, they matched St. Marys for nearly all of the game, but just lost out at the end.

A good display overall in their first year!
