Paddy Flanagan Memorial CP
Sunday 12th August - Milltown, Newbridge

On a wet day in Milltown Co. Kildare which made the roads a little slippery the scratch group hauled in all the groups by the start of the final lap. The rain started to fall again for the last lap though by then all the riders were well and truly soaked. The group split up on the final climbas a group of riders pulled away. In the sprint for the line Sean Bracken took the win with a bike length to spare over Terry Ferris.
Thanks are due again to John Malone and the members of Newbridge CC for the way they organised this race for the IVCA. There was plenty of marshals around the circuit on a day when conditions were not great. It was great to get tea and sandwiches after the race and not forgetting all the prizes given out.
