ceol, amhráin agus filíocht / music, song and poetry of Ireland

I hope you enjoy this new CD. It is a collection of traditional Irish music on Flute, Harp, Bodhrán and Tin Whistle. The CD also contains sean-nós singing (traditional unaccompanied singing in the Irish language), and Poetry. We recorded the CD live at  , Ionad Chultúir Gaelach / Centre for Irish Culture in the Glen of Aherlow, Co. Tipperary.  I wanted to place the artists in a totally natural setting so as to produce a more natural quality of sound.  All the artists enjoyed performing in this informal and relaxed setting, and felt it added greatly to their performances.  Bain sult as!

Roy Galvin.
