• To avoid landslides we need to restore the natural vegitation - heather, trees etc. to our bogs, hill and mountains.
• Having school textbooks and workbooks available online through laptops would safe on heavy loads, shopping, expense, environment and allow easy update.
• Providing distance learning to 3rd level college students in general would save on buildings, travel, accomodation, teaching staff, expense etc.
• Providing a network of available qualified people world-wide could save on much international travel i.e. each do work in own area.
• Mobile phone densities at any instant are known at base stations - this information could be interpreted for many uses e.g. to indicate traffic density.
• Computers should have a schedule for powerdown at night and powerup in morning - possibly opening favourite applications
