Dutch Students

Two Dutch Students Visit our School - March 2000.

On the 3rd of March two Dutch students called Rinske and Joyce came to our school. They were here for work experience. They helped teach 5th and 6th classes. They were in our school for two weeks. They were staying in Fethard.

They did art, games and normal school work with us. They taught us the song "Are You Sleeping Brother John" in Dutch. Rinske taught 1st and 2nd class twice. Each time she was in there for two hours. She taught them Dutch words and did a competition. They also made fish.

While Rinske was teaching 1st and 2nd classes, Joyce was doing painting with 5th and 6th class. We did our own stories about robot scenes and charcoal pictures.

We wish the very best wishes to Joyce and Rinske in their new jobs as teachers. Good luck.
