On the tenth of March, 2000,
the under twelve girls football team played three matches against, Poulfour, Horeswood and
Rathgarogue. First ,we played against Horeswood and we were narrowly defeated by them.
Then we took on Poulfour they won 2-2 to 1-1. Lastly we played Rathgarogue and we beat
them two goals and two points to nil.
We all really enjoyed the matches. We didn’t really care if we won or lost because
we were having great fun. The players on our team were Ashling, Melissa, Doreen, Nicola,
Sharon ,Emer, Lesly, Mary, Gwendoline and Cathriona
