Tír eile (pron. cheer-ella) means "The Other Land" in the gaelic tongue.

 

The album includes an interesting selection and variety of material: lively jigs, reels and hornpipes and lovely arrangements of old songs. Alongside this traditional music from the North Connaught region of Ireland is an Indian composition, Hansadwhani.
