Advantages
of handcrafted shoes
At our workshop studios
our Design Consultant Tony Murphy will measure your feet in order to prepare
shoe casts that will reflect the correct measurements and contours of
your feet. This ensures a comfortable fit and support from your footwear.
When necessary, a plaster of paris impression is taken of your foot. This
is then used to make orthotic insoles to support your arch and metatarsal
points on the sole of the foot to relieve pain and stress caused by fallen
arches.
Handcrafted footwear will resist perspiration and bacterial build-up
and remain fresh and
crisp after many years of wear.
Soles and heels can be repaired or replaced many times without any damage
to the uppers.
Once your foot measurements are taken, they are filed with your lasts
( wooden models of your feet) and your next pair of shoes can be ordered
without further consultation
