Dinant
This is Dinant sur meuse! Where the biscuits are as hard as rocks and the beer is as cold as an eskimos underpants :-)
One of the beautiful sites to see here
is the Notre Dame church, originally built in
the 12th century (a little before our time :-)),
it stands at the base of the citadelle.
Notice the onion shaped tower!!
Having climbed with our bare hands to the top of the mountain, we came upon the citadelle!
After being destroyed by those darn frenchies, the dutch came and re-built it in the late 19th Century.
(Talented bunch those dutch people!)
As part of our tour investigations it was very important to test all antique toilet facilities!

Note from Ron: "Could not find the loo paper!
Luckily I had my pants on!"
Inspection of "les toilettes antiques" was hugely successful and very conveniently located at the entrance to the citadelle.
"Is that Brad Pitt I see below? Swimming Naked in the meuse.... yes it is, yes it is!"
It was very hard to find parking for our transport....but Ron managed to squeeze it between the trees so it would be nice and cool for the journey home :-)
Sun, wine, food, blokker chairs, pringles and wine and some more wine.. at the shores of Les Lacs de L'eau d'heure.
Paris has the Eiffel Tower, london has the bridge thing, New York has the Statue of Liberty...introducing...Charleroi's very own Statue of Ronsch!!
