Oliver Reed
On Monday 1st May, 365 days after his death, we paid our respects to Ollie by visiting his grave and toasting his memory.
No Photos at the moment although a few were taken.
Happily however we have this photo of Ollie in his last film role, supplied by Lynda del Sasso.
Oliver Reed, 61, a dark-haired, burly British actor who was known for his intense gusto on films
and his action-filled antics off the screen, died May 2 1999 in Malta after an apparent heart attack.
Mr. Reed, the veteran of 53 films, was in Malta for the filming of "The Gladiator," which was
being produced by a Steven Spielberg company. In it, Mr. Reed portrayed a trainer of gladiators.
