Seán Hurley

The Trip Fonataines are a Dublin based band.  The principal members are Ross Lynchehaun and Seán Hurley, who both share recording duties, however there are a few other musicians who will appear as guests on recordings and on stage.

The two met while at university in UCD, Dublin.  Their musical tastes were of similar leanings and it was inevitable that a band would be in the offing.  As soon as things started moving it was clear that this was something special.  They are the sweet sounds of the sixties married with contemporary cool.  

Breakdown of duties:

Ross: vocals, guitar, keys, percussion, bass

Seán: guitar, vocals, bass, keys, percussion

I know the breakdown of instrument duties looks daft but the guys are both multi-faceted and they do both play all those instruments.  They both decide what instrument they will play on each tune by what feels right, corny I know but it's the truth.  Watch out for the live shows as the boys tend to change instruments on stage!!!!!
