RAISING AWARENESS FOR THE IRISH MOTOR NEURONE DISEASE ASSOCIATION
2000 RACE REPORT

We were looking forward to the 2000 race as we had completely rebuilt the car with a new chassis and suspension system and in testing the car was miles ahead of any of our previous models.
UNFORTUNATALLY
THE 2000 24 – HOUR CITROEN 2CV RACE WAS CANCELLED.
I
was approached by the then circuit manager and invited to demonstrate the 2CV at
the Truck Festival in August 2000, which we did to great advantage for the Irish
Motor Neurone Disease Association as they were the nominated Charity of the
event. It also pleased our sponsors

The
one good thing to come out of the cancellation is the fact that there is very
little work to be done for the 2001 race. I
won’t know what to do with myself over the winter!!!!!!!!!!!
