Timeline of School History |
 |
For the duration that our school building has been the home of primary education in our community many events have taken place in Irish History. From the Lord War to the foundation of our state, the impact of two great wars to Ireland's Presidency of the E.U in 2004, this time line reflects many political, social and economic changes and these changes have been reflected in the schools.
Schools too have seen changes. We now have central heating, running water and indoor toilets. Our classrooms are comfortable and we have a large collection of equipment and a class library with many books. We are driven to school by our parents and we take part in a lot of activities outside of school hours. School is fun and even though we look forward to our holidays we miss our friends and games and fun in school. We are told by our parents that our schooldays are the happiest days of our lives.
