(Opening Paragraph)
It all started after we won the Division IV hurling schools semi-final. Although I thought I wouldn't be playing, I was still excited about Tubber getting into the school final. You see I had worked extremely hard in training all year because I wanted to get on the team but I had never started a game and had only got on as a sub. Now that Tubber had got into the final, I wanted to get on the team more than ever. Tubber had got into the final the previous year but had lost by a point in extra time. We were training twice week leading up to the final. About two weeks before the final one of our star players fractured his finger and there was a position open on the team. I was really anxious to find out who was picked but I would have to "WAIT"!.
