Llanelli were a very big and physical team, which made the game a battle and should help us in the league this year.

Llanelli play in the League of Wales which should have made for a interesting game. After being given the run around by 3rd Division Darlington (mostly trailist on the night), I was looking forward to see how we would fair against this opposition. What exact standard are we in comparision to the Welsh League? Now that Celtic and Rangers are pushing for a place in the Premiership could we look to play in League of Wales? Great trips every second week and we would know what day we are actually playing, not trying to find out every week.

Some interesting observations from the team sheet though. Binder was on goal, was Fennelly dropped? Paul Leahy was back which must have improved the team? Thomas Fitzgerald scored a hatrick. Wayne Fitzgerald, Thomas brother from Carrick came on as a sub. Breener got a run after injury in Longford (cup semi final). No sign of Bradley has he decided on going to America?
