The experience of Big Brendan made a massive difference to the Blues under 21 team as they looked alot more composed with Rea calling all the shots from defence and encouraging every move the young guns made. His overall attitute is brilliant and every young player should learn a lot from our most experienced player.

this performance was so different from the one I witnessed last week in cobh, we tried to pass the ball out of defence , into midfield and up to forwards. We defended from the front and work hard in every area of the pitch. We totally out played a good Cork City team and should have one by a lot more than one goal. The reappearance of Gavin Morris between the posts was a big plus and as ever he was commanding and distributed the ball well. Brian Mallon was also back to his usual best after a below par performance last weekend.
