After coming back from the dead against Cardiff in the play off semi final, Stoke travelled to the final with high spirts to play Brentford. Before the match the players were confident with Semi final hero James O'Connor spuring on players as they hope to play first division football next season.

It was joy all the way in Cardiff as Deon Burton gave us an early lead and when a og saw us go 2 up just before the half time break no one was going to stop the Potters march to the First Division.
