Colin O'Brien has joined the Blues on a three month loan.

After PP's last loan signing Gary Dempsey proved to be a master stroke, we have now signed Colin O'Brien from Cork City. O'Brien is 26 years old, and is a right footed defender/midfielder. Colin fines himself out of favour at Turners Cross since Liam Murphy took over last season.

Colin was a bright prospect for City when he signed from Glasheen in 1985. In 1987 he scored against Shamrock Rovers in the last league game to put Cork into the Inter-Toto cup. Injury nearly ended his career in 1987, but he has been ever present in the City squad for the last 4 years.
