Haakon Johansen Haakon Johansen was a surprise visitor to the RSC on a cold December night in 2001 as he decided to come and see the progress Waterford United had made since in left in 1997. When a person says hello to you in the RSC and you know the face but can't put a name to him it's embarassing and then when he tells you it's Haakon you welcome him back to the home of world soccer. Haakon then heard about my site and sent me an e-mail to say hello and find out how the Blues are getting on. He now enjoys following the Blues along with millions of others on tubbritt.net. Haakon Johansen was signed during the 1996/97 season by Tommy Lynch. Haakon is Norwegian and was a good centre forward who scored 3 goals in 6 games for the Blues as we finished third in the First Division of the Harp Lager National League. The Blues went on to lose the promotion/relegation play off game to Dundalk. Haakon along with Trond Debes a fellow country man enjoyed their stay in the Crystal city and still visit from time to time.
