Richie Parsons who has been a thorn in the side for Waterford United over the past 10 years has joined the Blues until the end of the season on loan from Bray Wanderers.

Parsons who always scorers against the Blues whenever we meet has been approached to join up with recent signing Gary Dempsey as the Blues launch an assault on the First Division title. Parsons who played with Bray Wanderers on three different occasions and had spells with Athlone Town and Home Farm and scored his 100th league goal this year will help boost the blues chances of automatic promotion this season. A striker was needed in the RSC as this is a bold move from the directors to give us that final push to bring us back to where we belong in the Premier Division. If Parsons can manage to score 10 goals between now and April, I believe that Waterford United will gain promotion to the Big League and we will see increased attendance's in the home of Waterford soccer.

Richie you have broke our hearts in the past, but all will be forgiven if you hit the net in the blue jersey.
