Welcome to
Tubridy's
Bar & Guest House

Set besides the River Doonbeg, Cooraclare is a typical West Clare village, peaceful and quiet but offering an abundance of outdoor activities all within easy reach.

Tubridy's Bar & Guest House stands on the main street and is easily recognised by its distinctive ochre coloured frontage. More than a century old, the bar has been owned and run by 4 generations of the Tubridy family. Anne & Martin Tubridy are the present incumbents and they extend a warm welcome to all their guests. Visitors will find the very best of Irish home cooking on offer, along with lively entertainment in the bar and comfortable en suite accommodation.
The bar menu includes homemade soups, assorted sandwiches, an all day breakfast, and wholesome main dishes such as smoked salmon salad.
The dinner choices are equally appertising, ranging from a starter of melon and kiwi in a vinaigrette dressing to a hearty steak. The dinig room is a recent addition and is an inviting sight with its separate booths and tables laid with gingham cloths. After your meal, step into the bar where there's live entertainment at weekends and on the other days during the summer season.

With the sea nearby, lakes and rivers all around, the area guarantees anglers the best of shore and game angling. Tubridy's provides a tackle shed, cool room and wash room, and boats can be hired from Kilrush and Quilty piers, both just a few miles away. Most lakes and rivers are accessible thanks to the help of local anglers and the hospitality of the farming community.

Facilities for golfing, sailing and horseriding are all available locally and other attractions in the vicinity include fine beaches at Kilkee and Miltown Malbay, boat trips on the River Shannon, and a wealth of historic remains: ruined Abbey's, Round Towers, ring forts and dolmens.
