In 1999 the powers that be decided it would be a good idea (and just in case we didn't survive new years eve) to release this back catalogue celebration of the previous 20 years of music.
The result - 20 albums/720 tracks and not a dud to be found!

and Cds first started selling mainstream!

and the girls were spoilt for Christmas with Cabbage Patch Dolls and Care Bears the big toys of the year.

and it was also the year Kylie and Jason got wed on 'Neighbours'!

Catalogue no.NOWMIL1987 1987 - The year ecstasy-fuelled clubbers made silly shapes with their arms, grinned a lot, wore Smiley badges, and the music they were dancing to went 'Aciee-ed! Aciee-ed!'.
The Acid House revolution was here and dance music would never be the same again.

Singer Phil Collins stared in one of the big films 'Buster' of the year and Yazz kept telling everyody that 'The only way is up'.

and Bryan Adams released the unforgettable '(Everything I do) I do it for you', which amazingly stayed at the top of the charts for a record breaking 16 weeks.

and Madonna returned to the charts with 'This Used To Be Me Playground' which not only gave her a 10th US No. 1 but also meant she had more UK top hits than the Beatles.

It was also the year 'trip hop' as opposed to 'britpop' started mainstream with Portishead, Tricky and Massive Attack all pioneers!

Robson and Jerome crooned their way to the top of the charts after performing the Righteous Brothers' classic 'Unchained Melody' on the tv series 'Soldier Soldier'.
