SEA ANGLING FROM DOWNINGS |
|||||
|
Downings,
on the north west coast of Ireland,
has become the major hot spot for sea angling . From the heart racing thrill
of 100+ lbs. Blue Sharks, the energy sapping effort of wreck fishing, the
skills of variety hunting, the finesse of fly fishing and the raw power and
energy required to tackle the huge Giant Bluefin, they are all available
here. Tyrella Nash with one of her three I.G.F.A. world record certificates, with her father Joe, with his 5th. And her nephew Jeremy with his junior record. All caught from the "MARI PATRIA" |

Latest News: Nov. 2004. Well the angling season is over and already we are looking
forward to the next one. Shark
fishing was again very poor and I didn’t have a single one aboard this year, The
first time ever that this has not happened.
However the general fishing was good, we had a total of 32 species and
again a fair few specimens were captured in the area. The bluefin season was reasonable, for
full information on captures etc. go to: rosguill.com |
