(2000AD has published been published by Fleetway since the beginning but they appear to changed ownership a few times. First there was IPC Magazines then Maxwell Consumer Publishing & Communications somehow fleetway seems to have survived the Robert Maxwell shebang as a seperate entity called Fleetway Editions until in 1996, Egmont when seems to have stepped in to save company which I imagine was losing masses of money mass distributing the monthly reprints and specials. All of this is my guess )
But Egmont-Fleetway are now leaving a two week gap after each 48-special (e.g. progs. 1084 and 1111 )
Note: There was also a IPC strike between 10/5/80 and 14/6/80 delayed which Prog 165.
