Following our successful concert at the end of April, we will be singing as part of the Bloom's Day celebrations in June. We will have more details soon so watch this space!........
The Ulysses Chamber Choir is an award winning mixed voice (SATB) Dublin-based choir founded in 1992. We sing in four or more parts and currently have around 25 choir members. The group is made up of singers from diverse backgrounds and performs challenging music from across the musical spectrum.
Choir Objectives
1. Our core objective is to enjoy making beautiful music.
2. We strive to attain the highest standards of choral singing, and we aim to rate among the best chamber choirs in Ireland.
3. We aim for continuous improvement in terms of musicianship, technique and knowledge of repertoire.
4. We aim to learn and perform challenging music from across the musical spectrum (see the ‘repertoire’ section of this website).
5. We aim for excellence in every performance.
6. We want our audiences to share with us our appreciation and enjoyment of the music.
At rehearsals, we try to combine a friendly, informal atmosphere with top-quality singing. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 6.45pm to 8.45pm in Ely House, 8 Ely Place, located in Dublin City Centre, just off St. Stephen's Green (this venue may change from time to time).
