Mitsubishi's third-generation Space Wagon looks more estate car-like than its one-box rivals thanks to its distinct bonnet, but like them it uses height and a foreshortened profile to achieve its efficient packaging. This new model has an economical direct-injection engine of 2.4 litres, which delivers an energetic 147bhp.
