Flight Information

There are a number of airlines flying to both Bourgas and Varna Airports.

XL.com offer charter flights direct from Dublin To Bourgas from May 2007. Filghts are priced at €279 per person. Click on link to check availability.

Malev Hungarian  Airlines also fly to Varna all year round.

However i found that the most reliable and frequent flights are with Ryan Air to (London) Gatwick then British Airways to Varna. I recently picked up flights for under 200 euro.

With Bulgaria being a top holiday destination and it`s recent entry into the European Union it is expected that more low cost airlines will include Burgas and Varna into their schedules. Check back here for more information on flights and carriers regularly.

Airport Transfers

We can arrange transfers to and from both Bourgas and Varna airports, you will be met at the airport by our driver who will bring you direct to the apartment.

Varna International Airport (VAR)

Location: The airport is situated on the western outskirts, about five miles (9km) from Varna. Transfer to Sunny Beach:  Taxis are available, but the meters are often not working and it is advisable to agree on a fare with the driver before departure.Car rental: Car rental agents are on site at the airport. Facilities: The airport has currency exchange facilities, a large restaurant and duty free shops.  Website: www.varna-airport.bg

Bourgas Airport (BOJ)

Location: The airport is situated seven miles (12km) from Burgas. Transfer to Sunny Beach: Taxis are available, and local buses serve the airport.
