The hike will take place in the Galtees on the weekend of the 13-14 of
march. there is accomidation for about 70-80 people in the den in clonmel on
the friday night, you will have to make your own way there for friday night.
I would recomend that you dont arrive too early as the main hall is being
used for a meeting with the chief scout until c10:00, but we will have a
seperate room that you can check into and leave your bags in while you wait,
as the den is in the centre of the village you could possibly get some food
while you wait aswell.
The next morning we will be taking a coach up to the galtees and climbing
Galtemore. the coach will then collect us and bring us back to the den. the
den is available for the saturday night, dinner will be provided and we are
looking into activities, probably the cinema, to do for the night.
I cant give you an exact price at the moment as i am still waiting on the
coach companies to get back to me but i will try to keep it around E15,
including cinema and food.
If you are intrested just send me an email letting me know how many people
will be in your group and how many nights you want to stay. The activity
hasn't been announced yet as i am still trying to get an accurate price but
feel free to inform your local groups about it.
