Feeling the pressure

Something happen on my walk one Sunday afternoon, which I thought I would share with you.

I try to go on a 1/2 hour walk every second day and on a longer walk at the weekend. That particular Sunday, I was really dragging myself. Although there was no reason why I should be tired (I had a good night sleep and was not sick or stressed), my legs felt really heavy and I seemed to run out of steam. I was quite frustrated as I had plenty of time that day for a long walk but all I felt like was going back home.

It had started as a bright sunny day but there was now a very black cloud threatening my way. I did as much tapping as I could on energy and feeling strong but the results were quite slow to come. Next thing, the heavens opened and it was cold, windy with hale and snow... I carried on, thinking it was only a shower and that I would dry out by the time I get back home. The walk was still difficult even with the very very strong wind pushing in my back. My head felt all fuzzy and I could not really concentrate and focus on the tapping routine either. I also did some tapping to get more clarity of thoughts and more focus but there also, the results were a bit slow....

Next thing the shower stopped and the black cloud moved out of the way to let a very beautiful sunshine and blue sky appear. And just by magic, I suddenly felt stronger, straighter (I had been walking all bent and crooked since I took off from home) and my leg had regained that light feeling. I had found the spring in my steps again and my head was as clear as can be...

I just realised that I was feeling the atmospheric pressure. And once this was lifted, I also felt lifted. This experience made me much more aware of how the weather can affect us. I had often heard people complaining of pain in their joints when the weather was wet but, that day, I realised that the atmospheric pressure can also, literally, drag us down...
