Psychologically reversed
Our subconscious mind acts as a
chock
absorber between the harsh reality and our conscious mind.
Whenever a
problem
arises, it finds a solution.
Unfortunately, sometimes it has the
tendency to “over
use” that solution. Indeed, this solution, maybe suitable
to start with, might not be of any benefit any more and might even work
against our current interest.
Our subconscious mind is
usually against the introduction of any change and it'd rather
stick with the solution
it knows (even if the solution is no longer beneficial to us) than go
for the “unknown”.
This is why, somehow, sometimes, although we really want to change, we
find ourselves
unable to do so (a smoker cannot quit, an overweight person cannot
loose
weight, etc.). The person is then what is called "psychologically
reversed". When this reversal is present, no progress can be made with
EFT
(no matter what form of EFT you use - full basic recipe or any other
shortcut
version or indeed HEHT).
Luckily, there is a very effective and quick way of getting
over that
psychological reversal using EFT. Psychological reversal is only an
obstacle to
EFT. Note that once you have got rid of your reversal on a specific
issue, you
have not resolved that issue but simply cleared the path for EFT to
work.
