Mr Cool, the Nirvana Man

The Nirvana Man

or, Mr Cool

Black Granite, 2.40cms

The Nirvana Man has solved his problem. In other words, he’s got awakened (i.e. he ‘knows’ clearly) or self-realized (i.e. is wholly ‘real’). The heat generated from the inner turbulence resulting from his unresolved problem has been released (or relieved) and transformed by him either as a sense of lightness or brightness (i.e. enlightenment), or as a whole body-mind surge of joy or rapture.

Now the Nirvana Man (elsewhere called a mukti, elsewhere still, a Saint) is a blissful Mr. Cool, i.e. because being (almost) @ rest, @ 1, wholly de-fragmented, i.e. his internal heat almost ‘blown out’.

However, to avoid cooling down completely, i.e. to death, the wholly focused, hence stilled, hence cool Nirvana Man heats up (Self-differentiates) again, though in a different way. Whereas as Split Man his internal heat burnt him up, now, as Mr Cool (i.e. cool because wholly applied to his perfect means either to knowledge or to (self-) realization), he directs his heat to burn others (in the sense that a CD is burnt), thereby getting rid of it. In other words, by virtue of his own state of perfection (i.e. of perfect function application) he reconfigures (or initiates) others with his perfect means (i.e. the four phases of the Jhana meditation (i.e. problem solving) process), thereby helping them achieve his, and possibly their perfection (i.e. as awakening or realization), and enlightenment and joy, and coolness too.

In short, before nirvana (i.e. blow-out of the heat of inner turbulence) there is a Split Man without a singular (hence cool) creative thrust (i.e. without a specific function, i.e. as goal or purpose). During nirvana there is neither a man nor a creative thrust. After nirvana there is a creative thrust, but no man.
