Finger, Victoria's Way, Roundwood

Finger Black Granite, 15ft

The Finger points to the basic law of Life, namely, ‘Create or die’. If you create (i.e. via differential contact), you are. If you don’t, you ain’t.

    T
hat which you have to create is difference. After all, as scientists now tell us, “Only random events carry instruction”. In other words, only difference connects (i.e. touches) and therefore makes real. Or, "Only difference makes ... a difference". That's because sameness is compressed out, hence cannot strike (and make real).

Consequently, if you ain’t a bit of a random event, you can’t strike/connect/touch. And if you can’t strike/touch, you ain’t. The random bit (of difference) you want to be, hence the way you want to strike/ connect/touch, is your free choice. It is by inventing yourself as a random bit and connecting to an alternate random bit that you discover your true self (and THE TRUE SELF).

However, if you want to be a bit of a random event, and be (i.e. live, thereby express your true self), then you have to give up sameness (i.e. what you are right now).

In short, in order to live (i.e. to be, i.e. to be real) you have to die i.e. to what you are.
