So how did us four eejits meet each other?
Sean and Kev and Dave grew up together. At age 15 they put together a Hardcore Covers band called "Assault&Battery". The shows consisted of covers of old school european HC bands like "The Crivits" and "Brightside" as well as they're own brand of light hearted songs about Michael Flatly's haircut, Insults to a 27 year old German keyboardest called Ralph, and any other lyrics wrote 5 minutes before the shows. In the meantime I was playing in a band called Force me Under who were about a year older than the lads and fifty times worse.
Our drummer left so after a quick juggle around we found our guitarist playing drums with me on Bass and no Guitarist. In a Drunken meeting of chance (in my 16 yr old pre straight edge days) I meet the lads and conned Seanie into joining.
Pretty soon that fell apart and we started Ten Point Rule with Kev and Dave drafted in as the rythm section.

To spare myself a lot of writing and you a lot of needless reading we got well into it and are still going. The Ten Point Rule sound has been described as a lot of things. Depending on where you heard it from we've been desribed as hardcore rapcore, metal, forced old school hardcore (whatever that means) or just as plain old feckin useless. In a recent zine review we were described as Downset and Snapcase jamming with the singer of Brother's Keeper which is some kind of idea of the sound I s'pose.(A little flatering but ye get the idea) In T.P.R's 2 years existance we've realesed a 300 press Demo/CD in Cork Last year which has long since sold out.(we'd print more only we're all broke)We've supported touring bands such as Ensign, Stampin Ground, Earthtone 9, Freebase, Labrat, Abhinanda, 2000 Strong, Consume, Endstand and so on....

We're realising an E.P soon on "No where to run records" called "Tap my Weakness". Hopefully this'll be out before November. There are no plans gig wise right now but we're hoping to play a couple of gigs in Cork before the end of the summer after which we plan to do a couple of shows around Ireland and if dreams come through maybe play some U.K shows(if ya can help e mail me Please!!). K I said a short bio so I'll shut up now and leave ye look at the rest of the links.
