INTRODUCTION

This conformable farmhouse is on a mixed farm with goats, cattle, sheep and free range poultry in a peaceful valley, situated 1km from N60 – Claremorris / Westport road, and is an ideal base for touring the region. Signposts on N60 road.

It is ideally located for visiting Knock Shrine only 5 miles to the East. It is also a good center point for Ballintubber Abbey, Croagh Patrick, Kylemore Abbey – ideal for Westport / Louisburgh, Achill Island, Mulranny, North Mayo, Ceide Fields, Foxford Woolen Mills, Connemara, Moore Hall and Tourmakeady.

Single, double and Family rooms (also cot) available, with rooms en-suite. Hot and cold water/tea making facilities and TV in all rooms. Fully central heated. Packed lunches and flasks filled.

ACTIVITIES

EQUESTRIAN:- Claremorris boasts one of the finest equestrian complexes in Ireland. Lessons or rides may be arranged by appointment. Trekking through forests and farmland available all year round. High standard of instruction and safety assured.

GOLF:- There is a wide choice of golf courses available for the entheuist ranging from Golf Ranges (Castlebar & Westport) to 9 hole courses (Claremorris, Ballinrobe, Balla [Par 3]) and also 18 whole championship golf courses in Westport and Castlebar.

FISHING:- Mayo is a fisherman’s paradise, with its abundance of loughs and rivers spanning the countryside, filled with brown trout, salmon, perch, bream, tench, and pike.

OTHER ACTIVITIES:- Other facilities include heated indoor swimming pool and sauna adjacent to our historic library, an indoor handball ally (Claremorris) sport complex, bowling alley, tennis courts, International Four Day Walks (Castlebar).
