Future Events

Having survived  2007 and 2008 and all the commemorations of the Flight of the Earls i.e. Rathmullan Sept. '07; Switzerland March '08; Mechelen to Rome Sept. '08 and finally Rome Nov. '08 we are exhausted. What next?
In 2012 we intend having a tour across Europe beginning in San Gallen, Switzerland where the 1400th anniversary of Saint Gall arriving from Ireland and founding his monastery will be commemorated. That monastery became one of the most famous in Switzerland and eventually became a university and a city. From there it is proposed to travel via Vorarlberg to Innsbruck and on to Salzburg; spend 3 days in that city seeing and learning about the O'Donnell connections; then on to Vienna where we do likewise. Apart from the O'Donnell connections we might also have a look at local history, culture and enjoy their food and drink

But 2012 is 4 years away. Should we do something in between?
