The Vatican will be deciding soon to name a patron saint for the Internet. The decision will be made by the Pope John Paul the second but has yet to be announced. St Isidore is the fore runner and was born in Cartagena, Spain in 560 AD and died in Seville, Spain in 636 AD.
Why St Isidore as the patron Saint of the Internet? well St Isidore was famed for his knowledge and intelletual ability, he designed a dictionary called Etymologies and its structure was simular to that of a modern day database.
