Many people say that the Irish
culture is drink and good bacon and cabbage. They wouldn't be far
wrong. But not all Irish people are fond of there drink and stuffed
with bacon and cabbage. The Irish culture is changing rapidly.
We Irish are starting to move with the times or should i say catching
up. We are becoming more opened minded and are exepting that Ireland
is moving on. Ireland is part of the european Union now. This
gives us the chance to see how different cultures live. Irish
culture has changed so much in the past ten years. We are more broad
minded, but still crave for the stories that our Nan and Grandad use to
tell us so we can pass them down to our own kids and them to theirs.
There are many different storys that our Nanny and Grandad use to tell us. According to the 'an tSean-Bho Riabhach', known as the old brindled cow that lived up the mountain. This old brindled cow use to boast that even the rigours of March couldn't kill her. |
