Badgers are mammals. There are eight species of badger. They live in a variety of habitats in all parts of the world except South of America and Australia. Badgers have a stout body, a short, bushy tail and have usually white and black marking on their face. They are nocturnal and live in burrows. Badgers are carnivores that eat rodents and insects. |

The stoat, or ermine, is a long ,slender mammal. It is a carnivore, which belongs to the weasel family. Stoats are found in America, Europe andAsia. They live in woodland, hedges and grassland. In Northern parts when its cold, a stoats fur changes from its normal brown colour to a pure white, except for the tip of the tail, which is always black. Stoats catch and eat other small mammals and birds. |
