Waterford Road Runners
Golden Mile Summer Series - Week 4, Wednesday June 1st. 

This week saw runners try their hand at the 800 m distance, popular no doubt as it's 
shorter than the mile. With some of the mentors missing on the night Tara Walsh and her pit crew 
did a great job keeping things running smoothly, so to speak! 
It was unfortunate that the change of night so adversely affected  the number of participants,
as taking part and showing how much we use the track and need it is the only leverage we have to get 
buy in from the powers that be in the corporation. 
So this week and next we hope to see as many as possible line up for the whistle!
