Marine Climb

Friday April 25th, Marine Climb, Ger Wyley Spring Summer Series.
There were over 120 runners out on a fairly windy night in Dungarvan to brave the 'Climb' to the Marine Bar where a hot cup of tea awaited! Lots of our Road Runners were in action, the highest places being taken in the men's by Mark Langford and ladies by Joanne Jackman (they must be getting in some extra curricular training now that they're in their new home!). Aaron Colbert proved he's only just warming up as he again finished in the top 15. Ray Power couldn't convince his smaller half to run but still managed to do very well all on his ownsome! Rumour has it that Eileen Winters incurred an injury, I do hope it's either a vicious lie to put off her fellow competitors in the run up to this weekend's Waterford to Tramore run or that she at least recovers by then!
A full list of results has, as yet, escaped me but I will list them here as soon as I get them.
