| Saturday May 22nd, Butlerstown 10k
and 5k, Ger Wyley/Nike Summer Series Race 3 With a record 180+ runners lining up on the main Waterford to Cork Road, motorists can be forgiven for wondering what the heck was going on! The Summer Series continued living up to its name as the sun shone for the duration of the race, dulling only as we headed in for the wonderful cupan tae, sandwiches and most importantly chocolate bars! Full results are not yet to hand (electronically that is, have paper copy but too lazy to type those all in at the moment!). On first glance there were 40 Waterford Road Runners among the finishers, including 2 who did the 5k. Well done to both of those on completing their first ever road race, Paul Murphy and Tara Walsh in 27 and 29min respectively. Lots more fun to be had from here on out guys!
