Waterford Road Runners

A record entry for the Winter League!!

107 people entered and completed the 3/5 mile route on November 19th. Almost 25%more than last year's highest entry. 
Well done to everyone, looks like the Road Runners good name is being spread far and wide! 
Thanks to Lindie Naughton of the Evening Herald, her mention of the League inspired 2 fine, strapping Carlow men (well that's how they were described to me!)  to make the trip to the RSC. 
Lots of faces from last year returned at last to recover last year's long lost fitness and to experience more of the same enjoyment and craic. 
We know there are plenty of others out there that are more than able to complete either the 3 or 5 mile route, so why not urge your work colleagues, family etc to give it a try. (There's no limit on finishing time by the way,  Seamus has volunteered to wait as long as it takes each night to ensure everyone finishes safely!)
