The
Paddy Byrne's 2002 Winter League

What
brilliant night Wednesday March 5th turned out to be!! We had a terrific
77 people turn up for the last run of the league and most of these,
and more, made their way to Alfie's after for what turned out to be
great craic indeed!
A
special thanks is extended to Micheal Heery, President of the Athletics
Association of Ireland, who travelled all the way down from Louth to
share in our celebrations and to Brother Columbanus for accepting our
cheque for EUR2000 on behalf of the Special Olympics!
Next Wednesday
we'll continue running, only not as part of a League! Drop by the RSC
at about 6.30pm to head off on a 4 or 6 mile run at a pace set by whichever
group of people you want to join!
