Title: End Of Days
Director: Peter Hyams
Starring: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Gabriel Byrne
Certificate: 18
Running Time: 121 minutes.

This film is based on a religious theme and marked Arnold Schwarzenegger's return to movie making after his heart scare. Schwarzenegger plays the part of a body-guard named Jericho and he must stop the dibolical Gabriel Byrne from getting his hands on bride Robin Tunney, whose coming of age in New York was prophesised in that typical Hollywood style (stars aligning, obscure latin texts - you know the drill).

The amazing showdown is quite spectacular when Schwarzenegger realises that none of his high powered weaponry can make a dent in the devils armoury. The support cast are also very good with the doom and gloom reverend Eli Walach and Tunney catching the eye. Overall the films is stolen by Gabriel Byrne who dressed entirely in black dosen't resort to the actions of a devil in a typical Hollywood film. He is cocky and waltzes through the film with a permanent sneer and not surprisingly Byrne's said that this was one of his most enjoyable roles he ever had.
